Clearing Rules

The following table describes clearing riles that can be applied to rows and data values.

Rule Description Example
Remove empty rows The program will not copy empty rows to output file N/A
Remove duplicates The program will not copy duplicates to output file.
Optional, it can save these rows to different file.

Capitalization mode Please refer to the table below  
Remove leading spaces The feature removes any spaces before the first non-space value symbol "  abc" to "abc"
Remove trailing spaces The feature removes any spaces after the last non-space value symbol "abc  " to "abc"
Remove duplicated spaces The feature removes duplicated spaces between words "the   first" to "the first"
Add lost spaces The feature adds lost space between '.', '!' or '?' and the next word. "Why?Because of." to "Why? Because of."
Remove non-printable symbols The feature removes control or non-printable symbols from the value

Capitalization modes

Mode Description Example
Do nothing The program will not change capitalization in this case N/A
WORD WORD WORD... The program makes all symbols upper "Abc and Me" to "ABC AND ME"
word word word... The program makes all symbols lower "Abc and Me" to "abc and me"
Word Word Word... The program makes upper the first letter of each word. "Abc and mike" to "Abc And Mike"
Word word word. Word... The program makes upper the first letter of each statement. It uses '.', '?' and '!' as a statement separator. "Good! are you ready? yes." to "Good! Are you ready? Yes."
